How do Reed Diffusers Work?The reed diffuser oil travels up, through the reed sticks, and fills the room with a wonderful aroma. For best results, the reeds should be flipped every other day. This prevents dust particles from adhering to the surface, clogging the reeds and blocking the scent. It will also ensure months of continuous fragrance.How to Use Aromatherapy Reed Diffusers1. Fill the bottle approximately half full with diffuser oil.2. Place the reeds into the bottle and allow them to soak in the oil for about one half hour. 3. Remove the reeds, flip them around and insert the other end of the reeds that aren't wet into the bottle. Be careful with dripping oil. It is best to keep your diffuser on a plate or coaster, since oil can leave marks on your furniture. 4. Leave the reeds in the oil to diffuse the scent for a couple of days or a week. Then, remove the reeds and flip them over again to keep the scent refreshed. Every now and then, twist the reeds while in the bottle to help with diffusion. 5. In small spaces, like bathrooms, use less sticks. Using all the sticks, in small areas, may be overwhelming. 6. Use reed diffusers to enhance the scent in a room without an open flame. PLEASE NOTE: Diffuser fragrance oils are flammable so keep away from open flames. 7. Diffuser fragrance oil should not be ingested, so keep away from children and pets. |
