Fragrance Lamps, also known as Effusion Lamps
or Catalytic Lamps, combine a century old concept of air
purification, along with the pleasures of exotic fragrances. Safer than candles, Fragrance Lamps work in a flame-less state by using a special stone wick that stays hot after blowing out the flame. The wick releases the fragrance and saturates an average size home within 40 minutes. In addition, by converting the lamp fragrance into negative ions, it binds with airborne bacteria and unpleasant odors, leaving you with a wonderful aroma and cleaner air. With many gorgeous styles of Effusion Fragrance Lamps to choose from, there's a lamp to suit every taste! Each Fragrance Lamp comes complete with a gift box, decorative cap, wick, funnel and snuffer cap. Don't forget the lamp oil! Fragrance Lamp Oils are available in a variety of fragrances and are sold in 16 oz bottles. PLEASE NOTE: Fragrance Lamp Oil should ONLY be used in fragrance lamps. Fragrance Lamp Instructions 1. Fill lamp approximately 2/3 full with lamp fragrance oil. 2. Place the wick assembly into the lamp. 3. Cover stone with the snuffer cap for approximately 20-30 minutes. This allows the fragrance to fully saturate the stone. 4. Remove the snuffer cap and light the stone with a lighter or match stick. Let the flame burn for 2-3 minutes. 5. After 2-3 minutes, blow out the flame. 6. Place the decorative cap over the HOT stone and enjoy your lamp. It should take approximately 45 minutes to fill an entire home with fragrance. 7. To turn off the lamp, simply place the snuffer cap over the stone. If there is still fragrance oil left in the lamp, start at #4 for your next use. |
